Job summary

Michael Hsu Office of Architecture is seeking an experienced Communications Manager for the Austin, TX office. The role supports the Marketing team with PR, client communications, and content creation in a hybrid in-person/remote setup.

The ideal candidate will manage media relations, project narratives, and thought-leadership opportunities while coordinating shoots and client events. A strong writing background and experience with architectural projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in communications, PR, marketing or client relations.
• Experience in architecture, design, real estate or project-based services is preferred.
• Ability to draft client communications and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact with external PR agency and coordinate press materials.
• Draft narratives and talking points in a consistent, sensory brand voice.
• Manage social media content and photographer credits across channels.
• Coordinate photography, video shoots, and content assets for proposals and sites.
