Actalent is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager in Charlotte, NC, a hybrid role that leads large-scale architectural projects and serves as a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders.

You will steer projects from planning through construction, manage budgets and staffing, and mentor teams while advancing the firm’s growth and client strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture required.
• Registered Architect (RA) certification preferred.
• 12+ years of architectural experience and 5+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases of planning, design, and construction.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project performance.
• Serve as primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.

• Ensure project quality through QA/QC processes and technical oversight.
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and business leadership to support project success.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• Registered Architect (RA)
• 12+ years of architectural experience
• 5+ years of project management experience
• Proven success leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong client relationship, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale commercial, institutional, mixed-use, civic, or campus projects
• LEED Accreditation or sustainable design experience
• PMP Certification
• Experience mentoring and leading project teams
• Passion for collaboration and contributing to an employee-owned culture

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $64.90/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
