Dycom Industries, Inc is seeking an ERP Platform Architect to translate business objectives into scalable SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA and BTP, with governance over the Clean Core.

This executive-level role in the Administration pillar leads architectural roadmaps, ARB governance, and cross-domain collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.

You will drive resilience, security, and integration with key partners, shaping the SAP CoE and platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10–15 years SAP architecture experience, with at least 5 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Event Mesh).
• Proven experience leading Architectural Review Boards (ARB) and defining technical roadmaps with Clean Core governance.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, SAP AI Core, Advanced Analytics, and HA/DR strategies.

Responsibilities

• Landscape Ownership: end-to-end SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and cloud landscape ownership.
• Strategic Roadmap: align architectural roadmap with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Transformational Innovation: evaluate SAP AI Core and Advanced Analytics for CoE growth.
• System Authority: enforce Clean Core by reviewing custom code (Z-code).
• Development Standards: guide extensions via SAP BTP, not core S/4HANA edits.
• Governance Leadership: chair ARB for security, compliance, and performance.
• Ecosystem Mapping: design robust SAP integrations with key third-party systems.
• Resilience & Capacity: design high-availability, DR, and capacity planning.

We are seeking a highly strategic ERP Platform Architect to translate business objectives into scalable, resilient, and secure SAP landscapes. What You’ll Do

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Landscape Ownership: Own the end-to-end technical landscape of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and associated cloud environments.
• Strategic Roadmap: Define and maintain the architectural roadmap, ensuring complete alignment with Business Process Owner (BPO) strategies across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Transformational Innovation: Evaluate and recommend emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP AI Core and Advanced Analytics, to aggressively drive the CoE's Transformational service tier.

Technical Governance & The "Clean Core"

• System Authority: Act as the ultimate authority on system modifications by rigorously reviewing and approving or rejecting custom code (Z-code) requests to enforce the "Clean Core" mandate.
• Development Standards: Dictate development standards, explicitly guiding the development team to utilize SAP BTP for extensions rather than modifying core S/4HANA source code.
• Governance Leadership: Chair the Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure all system enhancements align with enterprise security, compliance, and performance standards.

Integration & Ecosystem Mapping

• Ecosystem Architecture: Architect robust, secure, and low-latency integration patterns between SAP and critical third-party systems such as procurement portals, HRIS, and fleet management.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data flows seamlessly across the ecosystem, directly supporting the Master Data Architect in maintaining the "Single Source of Truth".

Resilience, Capacity, and Performance

• System Resilience: Partner with system engineers to expertly design high-availability, disaster recovery (DR), and failover architectures.
• Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor system capacity and architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the system can handle the immense transactional volume of a rapidly expanding enterprise.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Event Mesh).
• Proven experience leading Architectural Review Boards (ARB), defining technical roadmaps, and enforcing "Clean Core" governance standards.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, SAP AI Core, Advanced Analytics, and high-availability/disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations departments.
