Job summary

Dycom Industries is seeking an ERP Platform Architect to translate business goals into scalable SAP landscapes and governance. You will own the enterprise architecture, lead the ARB, and ensure Clean Core compliance while driving cloud-native, secure, and high-performing SAP ecosystems across the CoE.

The role requires deep SAP S/4HANA expertise, BTP, and integration tech, plus strong leadership to align with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 5 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI, Event Mesh).
• Proven experience leading Architectural Review Boards (ARB), defining technical roadmaps, and enforcing Clean Core governance.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, SAP AI Core, Advanced Analytics, and HA/DR strategies.

Responsibilities

• Landscape Ownership: Own the end-to-end SAP technical landscape (S/4HANA, BTP, cloud environments).
• Strategic Roadmap: Define and maintain an architectural roadmap aligned with BPO strategies across functions.

We are seeking a highly strategic ERP Platform Architect to translate business objectives into scalable, resilient, and secure SAP landscapes. In this executive‑level technical role within the Administration pillar, you will serve as the ultimate authority on system architecture and "Clean Core" governance.

What you’ll do

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Landscape Ownership: Own the end-to-end technical landscape of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and associated cloud environments.
• Strategic Roadmap: Define and maintain the architectural roadmap, ensuring complete alignment with Business Process Owner (BPO) strategies across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Transformational Innovation: Evaluate and recommend emerging SAP technologies, such as SAP AI Core and Advanced Analytics, to aggressively drive the CoE's Transformational service tier.

Technical Governance & The "Clean Core"

• System Authority: Act as the ultimate authority on system modifications by rigorously reviewing and approving or rejecting custom code (Z-code) requests to enforce the "Clean Core" mandate.
• Development Standards: Dictate development standards, explicitly guiding the development team to utilize SAP BTP for extensions rather than modifying core S/4HANA source code.
• Governance Leadership: Chair the Architectural Review Board (ARB) to ensure all system enhancements align with enterprise security, compliance, and performance standards.

Integration & Ecosystem Mapping

• Ecosystem Architecture: Architect robust, secure, and low‑latency integration patterns between SAP and critical third‑party systems such as procurement portals, HRIS, and fleet management.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data flows seamlessly across the ecosystem, directly supporting the Master Data Architect in maintaining the "Single Source of Truth".

Resilience, Capacity, and Performance

• System Resilience: Partner with system engineers to expertly design high‑availability, disaster recovery (DR), and failover architectures.
• Capacity Planning: Proactively monitor system capacity and architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the system can handle the immense transactional volume of a rapidly expanding enterprise.

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and integration technologies (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Event Mesh).

Proven experience leading Architectural Review Boards (ARB), defining technical roadmaps, and enforcing "Clean Core" governance standards.

Strong understanding of cloud‑native architecture, SAP AI Core, Advanced Analytics, and high‑availability/disaster recovery strategies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations departments.
