Obsolete Site seeks an Architect to prepare in-house architectural designs, coordinate with structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines, and prepare drawings, specifications, estimates, and design analyses for negotiated procurement.

The role involves reviewing A-E submissions for compliance with regulations, maintaining CADD proficiency, developing revisions and change orders, and providing technical guidance to the Construction Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field with required course work.
• One year of specialized experience at GS-07 level as described in the announcement.
• Education or combination of education and experience that demonstrates architectural knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Prepare in-house architectural designs by evaluating project objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to meet project requirements.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, estimates, and design analysis for procurement.
• Review designs for compliance with criteria, regulations, and codes.
• Maintain knowledge of CADD for design review.
• Prepare design revisions and change orders for bids or construction.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve design problems or modify contracts.
• Conduct field investigations of project sites and existing building conditions.
