KenHome is seeking a licensed Architect to serve as a design ambassador and constructability referee for institutional projects in Texas. You will engage owners during preconstruction, partner with the Architect of Record on design development, and stand behind field documentation during construction.
You will lead GMP discussions, review drawings for buildability, run design-assist sessions with trades, and mentor colleagues on design fundamentals in a collaborative, multi-discipline
Be KenHome's architectural voice across institutional pursuits — owner conversations, design review, and constructability coordination with the Architect of Record.
KenHome self-performs construction management and rarely acts as Architect of Record, but the quality of our architectural understanding is a competitive advantage on institutional, municipal, and federal work. Owners want a contractor who can have a real conversation about design intent, not just bid documents.
This role is part design ambassador, part constructability referee. You will sit with owners during preconstruction, partner with the AOR on the design, and stand behind the documentation in the field when it is being built.
