Coastal Carolina University’s College of Humanities & Fine Arts seeks an Archarios Editor, a student position with 20 hours per week. The editor will lead the Archarios staff, coordinate editorial workflow, and supervise design and production schedules to deliver the magazine on time.

The role includes final copy approval, content oversight, and collaboration with the digital editor. Regular adviser meetings, event supervision, budget management, and contest submissions are part of the duties.

• Organizes and conducts weekly staff meetings
• Assigns staff tasks for magazine deadlines
• Coordinates editorial, design, layout, and production schedules
• Meets and consults with digital editor
• Organizes preliminary and issue-planning sessions
• Has final approval on all pieces selected for the magazine
• Copy edits final copy of magazine
• Organizes and participates in magazine distribution and circulation
• Takes responsibility for content of Archarios publication
• Meets regularly with adviser(s)
• Supervises and organizes all events, including opening reception of magazine
• Maintains control over costs and creates budget
• Submits semester-end and year-end reports
• Responsible for submitting magazine entries to applicable contests
• Ensures staff representation at external meetings
