AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Archaeology Intern to support field surveys, conduct archival research, and assist in evaluating historic resources for National Register eligibility under NHPA and GEPA.

You are pursuing 60 hours toward a Bachelor's or Master's in anthropology, archaeology or related field from an ABET-accredited program by Summer 2027, and hold a valid driver's license with basic Word/Excel skills; ArcGIS knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years experience in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, art history, urban planning, public history, American Studies, or another closely aligned academic discipline from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

About You

• EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in anthropology, archaeology, art history, urban planning, public history, American Studies, or another closely aligned academic discipline from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company policy. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Familiarity with ArcGIS is a plus

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $23 - $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
