Job summary

Stantec is seeking a dedicated archaeological technician to join its Cultural Resources team in Riverview, FL, Alpharetta, GA, or Mobile, AL. The role involves conducting archaeological survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring on full-time, project-based assignments with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Experience on Phase I survey projects preferred.
• Experience in Phase II testing or Phase III data recovery preferred.
• Knowledge of precontact and historic material culture within field contexts.

Responsibilities

• Perform archaeological fieldwork tasks including controlled surface survey; shovel testing; and excavation.
• Support data collection and documentation in field settings.
