Qualifications

Master's degree in Anthropology/Archaeology required.
Minimum of two years of experience in cultural resource management.
At least one full year of supervisory fieldwork experience.
Familiarity with historic preservation laws, especially Section 106.
Strong background in archaeological field methods and GPS field technologies.
Valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and communicate with clients and stakeholders during field investigations and project development.
Direct and supervise field crews to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.
Provide training and mentorship to junior archaeological staff.
Participate in field surveys, excavations, and other investigations as needed.
Utilize GPS and GIS technologies to document sites and coordinate fieldwork.
Maintain accurate records of activities, methods, and field data.
Assist in reporting and project progress tracking.
Travel to project sites for field supervision and Phase I–III investigations.
