The ideal candidate will support field- and office-based cultural resources projects, work independently, and collaborate with project teams and clients across the region. The role involves field surveys, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities for project management support and business development within Northern

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Anthropology, Archaeology, or a closely related field.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a smaller office and multidisciplinary project team.
• Working knowledge of federal and California cultural resources regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pedestrian surveys and site documentation.
• Prepare maps, records, technical reports, and other cultural resources documentation.
• Perform construction monitoring and archaeological excavations.
• Conduct archival, records, and background research as needed.
• Assist with the analysis and interpretation of archaeological data.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Support project management and business development activities within the region.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior cultural resources staff, as appropriate.
