An established industry player offers a dynamic opportunity for a Field Director to lead archaeological teams in diverse environments across the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Midwest. General Responsibilities:
Terracon offers an exciting opportunity to lead archaeological teams in performing Phase I surveys, Phase II testing, and Phase III data recovery excavations on pre-contact and/or historic period archaeological sites in the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Midwest regions. Our projects include highway and utility corridors, bridge replacements, municipal water and sewer lines, commercial projects, and private developments. Field crews work five to ten-day shifts, in a wide variety of environments (mountain forest, agricultural fields, subdivisions, and urban centers), with paid lodging and per diem.
