Job summary
Esri's Professional Services team is seeking a Technical Consultant focused on system engineering for ArcGIS Enterprise. You will design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise GIS systems, emphasizing high availability, disaster recovery, and Kubernetes-based architectures.
You will apply engineering practices across Windows, Linux, cloud, and containerized deployments, perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, and architecture evolution as systems scale and complexity grow.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS systems.
- Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and US citizenship with active TS clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, GIS, or STEM field.
Responsibilities
- Participate in advanced Professional Services engagement types including migrations and architecture modernization.
- Resolve system challenges with advanced troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Conduct disaster recovery exercises and DR planning for enterprise GIS deployments.
- Lead proofs of concept for ArcGIS Enterprise deployments.
- Upgrade and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise and databases on Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes.
