People Technology And Processes seeks a Drafter ArcGIS CAD Operator II to migrate plant diagrams into ArcGIS and convert legacy AutoCAD data, with goal of reducing AutoCAD use by mid-2025. The role supports NEC GIS activities from Fort Knox, KY, and requires strong CAD/GIS skills and ability to read engineering drawings.

Candidates should have 3+ years CAD drafting experience (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation) and be proficient with GIS data formats, redlining, and map creation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years CAD drafting experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, and field notes.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related GIS data formats.

Responsabilités

• Migrate plant diagrams into ArcGIS for the NEC GIS team.
• Convert legacy AutoCAD data and reduce AutoCAD dependency by 2025.
• Prepare drawings and layouts using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Utilize ArcGIS to create maps and support planning tasks.
• Update as-built drawings from field sketches and redlines.
• Maintain CAD drawing libraries and document control.
• Assist with data conversion, digitizing, and georeferencing.
