Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking a part‑time technician to keep arcade games running smoothly and guests smiling. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain games, assist guests, and help manage parts and stock across the location.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to company policies while supporting other venues as needed, with a schedule of Monday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts. A background in tech support is ideal.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and some technical training.
  • At least one year of technical experience or equivalent training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on arcade games to minimize downtime and maintain like-new condition.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Manager or General Manager to develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan.
  • Source and manage game parts to minimize expenses and maintain accurate tracking in the web‑based system.
  • Communicate all arcade operational issues promptly to management.
  • Assist guests with game issues in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Keep token changers, ticket stations, and instant win merchandise stocked and functioning properly.
  • Follow all security procedures for token collection, storage, and company assets.
  • Assist with game cleaning, ticket loading, and general arcade upkeep.
  • Support other locations with game setups, moves, and operational improvements as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
