Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking a Senior Technician to repair and maintain arcade games and related equipment, ensuring safe, high‑quality guest experiences. The role includes hands‑on repair, preventative maintenance, and guidance to junior technicians within a fast‑paced entertainment environment.

You will work on classic and modern arcade systems, assist in setup of new equipment, and collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and maximize uptime, with flexible hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade certification a plus.
• 3+ years repairing and maintaining arcade machines or similar electromechanical gear.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, soldering and troubleshooting tools.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to work on feet for long periods.
• Effective communication and team leadership abilities; flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair arcade game machines including video games and pinball.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on all equipment.
• Maintain service logs and documentation for repairs and maintenance.
• Order and track parts and supplies as needed.
• Assist in installation and setup of new arcade equipment.
• Keep machines clean, safe, and presentable for guests.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and maximize uptime.
• Stay current on new arcade technologies and equipment advances.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop or tech area; adapt to flexible hours.
