Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

It is the primary responsibility of the Arcade Technician to repair and maintain all systems utilized in the venue. All duties are to be performed in accordance with safety regulations and to maintain clean and orderly work areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Adjust arcade games for proper ticket payout and functionality according to agreed limits.
  • Repair and maintain all systems utilized in the venue.
  • Diagnose problems on equipment; order, replace and/or repair parts to keep all equipment operational.
  • Establish and maintain parts inventory for arcade games.
  • Maintain a repair log and review with Manager weekly.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to leadership.
  • Follow preventative maintenance schedule for machines including cleaning and cosmetic repair.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Operates POS equipment, servers, and computers.
  • Prepare written communication to leadership, vendors or corporate departments.
  • Professionally interact with vendors, guests, and staff members
  • Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction; analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
  • Responsible to help keep all equipment clean and maintain games at peak cleanliness.
  • Interact regularly with leadership providing ideas, concerns, or suggestions.
  • Providing world class service to our guests and fellow employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proper knowledge and operational use of power and manual tools.
  • Stay current on the newest technologies and make recommendations for a more efficient and safe operation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
  • Ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
  • Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests.
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company Standards.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Mobility and dexterity to bend, crouch, turn, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke.
  • The physical ability to stand and/or walk continuously for duration of shift.
