Job summary

Jake’s Unlimited in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a full-time Game Technician to keep arcade games and related equipment operating safely and reliably. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, and you’ll help with game moves and setups.

You’ll work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, enjoy free meals on shift, employee discounts, and a hands-on environment with a variety of entertainment equipment,

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of professional Game Technician or related technical repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, or electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair arcade games and related equipment.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, and basic computer-related issues.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize game uptime.
• Troubleshoot components including wiring, sensors, power supplies, motors, displays, card readers, and controls.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper and safe operation.
• Identify recurring problems and help develop long-term solutions.
• Document repairs, maintenance, and parts needs.
