Overview

The Technician is responsible for all the operations of an amusement arcade and/or Bowling machines. The job is to oversee, maintain, and repair arcade machines and bowling.

Essential Duties

<><>Respond to customer complaints of machine malfunction and analyze the mechanism to find the root of the problem.

Assist the Facility Manager with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and circuitry issues in the arcade games and/or bowling machines.

Identify the most common problems with components like controls and audio systems.

Other

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks.
• Keep a clean and organized workshop.
• Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Regularly work in a bowling center/arcade environment with high levels of noise, dust, and activity.
• The noise level is usually loud.

Physical Demands

• Required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Required to use hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Required to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs with assistance.
