Scale AI, Inc. seeks a Team Lead for the ARC team supporting our Public Sector Engineering group.

You will define how the company ships software and establish patterns for deploying into complex government and high-security environments, building internal CLIs/tools to standardize testing, deployment, and environment management. As Team Lead you will mentor the team, guide technical direction, re-architect stacks for compliant environments, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to

• Active secret clearance is required.
• Experience building backend systems for secure, high-security environments.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure scalable backend systems for Public Sector customers.
• Provide mentorship and manage performance of team members.
• Own services and define long-term health goals; improve surrounding components.
• Re-architect stack for compliant environments with swappable auth/storage/logging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet government agency needs.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to platform roadmap and product strategy for Scale AI's Public Sector.
