Scale AI in San Francisco seeks a Team Lead for the ARC team. You will shape how Scale ships software, define deployment patterns for government and high-security environments, and build internal tools that standardize testing and deployments.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• Full stack development experience across front-end and back-end.
• Experience delivering to air-gapped isolated environments is a plus.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Federal Compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, STIG, etc).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure scalable backend systems for Public Sector customers.
• Provide mentorship and manage performance of team members.
• Own services and define long-term health goals; improve surrounding components.
• Re-architect stack for compliant/restrictive environments with swappable auth/storage/logging components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet government security needs.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to platform roadmap and Scale AI's Public Sector strategy.
