Job summary

Remington Ammunition seeks an ARC Plant Technician to operate and maintain equipment used in lead reclamation, shot production, hazardous waste processing, and recycling operations at our Lonoke, Arkansas facility. You will perform changeovers, troubleshoot production issues, and support safe, efficient operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in manufacturing or related production, with strong mechanical aptitude and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, mechanical, or related production experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Capable of reading and following written/verbal instructions.
• Basic math and data entry skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in lead remelting, shot production, hazardous waste processing, and recycling.
• Perform machine setup, changeovers, and equipment adjustments.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and safely operate tools.
• Maintain production/process records and support process development.
• Mentor teammates and assist with training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety, environmental, quality and company policies.
