Job summary

Remington Ammunition is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing operations at our Lonoke, Arkansas facility. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment and facility systems to keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient.

The ideal candidate has experience in industrial manufacturing and a strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, maintenance procedures, and equipment manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production equipment to operational status.
• Inspect equipment and identify opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and performance.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections within maintenance tracking systems and required records.
• Assist in installation, modification, and commissioning of equipment and machinery.
• Fabricate, machine, weld, or modify components as needed to support repairs and improvement projects.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
