Qualifications

• Hands-on tree climbing experience required from private tree care or arborist work.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must obtain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Must travel for storm restoration work when needed.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees according to Foreperson's directives
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into brush chipper
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of all assigned tools and equipment
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards in and around the work area by enforcing safe job practices
• Perform duties for storm work as needed
