Job summary

ISA Certified Arborist in Missouri is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees with a bucket truck or other equipment. Prior experience operating an aerial lift and a valid driver’s license are required.

You will perform professional tree maintenance under supervision, follow strict safety rules, and assist the crew in daily tasks. Storm restoration work and equipment upkeep are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging used in tree trimming and removal operations.
• Identify tree species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards and safety near conductors and aerial methods in emergencies.
• Able to work and maneuver at heights under varying weather conditions.
• Physically strong with good balance and depth perception.
• Must obtain and maintain first-aid certification and CPR.
• Emergency rescue techniques training required.
• Able to wear PPE.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and help enforce safe practices and rules.
• Assist in preparing truck and materials for the day.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by the General Foreperson.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches and debris.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Improve climbing and tree maintenance skills.
• Willing to assist other crew members in daily activities.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
