Job summary

Ryan Lawn & Tree is seeking a Tree Pruner/Arborist/Groundsman to join a skilled crew serving residential properties. You will prune, canopy work, and assist with removals while prioritizing safety and client communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50+ lbs and walk 3+ miles daily.
• Comfort working at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to climb and work aloft safely.
• DOT certification, background check, and drug screenings required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong team-player with commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, canopy and structural pruning following industry best practices.
• Assist with tree removal and related tasks like shrub pruning, mulch, stump grinding.
• Work safely at height, using aerial equipment and safety protocols.
• Operate small-engine equipment (chainsaws, pole saws, trimmers).
• Work as part of a crew or independently depending on task.
• Communicate with clients about scope, process and expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized job site.
