Job summary

Lucas Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Trainee in Rochester, NH. The role involves learning all aspects of tree care, with on-the-job training provided. The position offers $19-$24 hourly pay and full-time year-round outdoor work.

Responsibilities include vegetation removal, pruning, line clearance, and operating forestry equipment. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma, a valid license, and be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• No tree-industry experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work 45 hours weekly.
• Must be 18+ with HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to learn to run bucket truck and obtain CDL A/B.
• Ability to perform duties outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manual removal of vegetation from work areas.
• Safely operating forestry equipment (skidders, mowers, chainsaws, ATVs).
• Performing line clearance, pruning, and removals.
• Learn to operate bucket truck and other equipment.
