Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in Baltimore, MD is seeking a motivated Trimmer Trainee / Tree Grounds Person-Helper. CDL is required and you will be paid $22–$28 per hour depending on experience to trim and remove trees and support health and safety of trees and surroundings.

You will learn climbing, pruning techniques, equipment operation, and professional tree care as part of a supportive crew focused on growth and safety.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors is essential.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

Responsibilities

• Learn to climb trees and operate as a member of a tree crew.
• Learn to perform tree pruning and removal tasks safely.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws and chippers.
