Job summary

HirefinderRPO is seeking an experienced tree climber for our Maryland crew. This hourly role involves leading pruning, removals, planting, and tree care in all weather, with safety as priority and a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

CDL is not required, but a valid driver's license and DOT Medical Card eligibility help ensure safety on site. Applicants must have 3+ years of professional tree climbing, a valid license and clean driving record, and be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional tree climbing experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record and ability to obtain a Medical DOT Card.
• Ability to work effectively and safely within a team environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Background or education in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping.
• ISA Arborist Certification, pesticide license, or LTE licenses.
• PTO.
• HSA/FSA accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead tree pruning, removals, planting, and tree care.
• Perform climbing and aerial lift work.
• Identify and assess trees.
• Install cabling and bracing systems.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, lifts, and hand tools.
• Respond to storm/emergency tree-related calls when needed.
• Maintain a strong safety culture.
