Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Frederick, MD to lead a tree care crew and ensure safe, efficient services. The role emphasizes supervising all arboriculture tasks and maintaining equipment while training team members on site.

The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of climbing experience (DdRT/SRT), a valid license, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, PTO, and uniform provisions.

Qualifications

• Arborist with at least 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team‑oriented and self‑motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture: pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals, and equipment maintenance.
• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager.
• Ensuring crew training for each designated job assignment and adherence to industry standards.
• Communicating with clients and building relationships on the job site.
