Job summary

Complete Landscaping Services in Bowie, MD, seeks a Tree Climber to perform safe, efficient arboreal work for commercial clients. You will climb, prune, cable, and prepare trees for movement while following strict PPE and safety guidelines.

Requires at least 1 year of professional tree experience and a valid driver’s license; English communication is preferred and bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Training is provided through Monarch’s Total Rewards and industry-leading programs.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional tree work experience.
• Valid driver license strongly required.
• English communication preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Basic tree care principles, pruning techniques, tree ID and disease ID.
• Tree climbing (above 15 feet), cabling and safety procedures.
• Aerial rescue and proper rope operations; hazard recognition and safety measures.
• Ability to communicate with crew lead and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform arbor climbing tasks as instructed by Arbor Crew Lead.
• Safely climb trees using hooks, belts, or ladders to access work areas.
• Trim and reshape trees; remove low hanging branches.
• Cable, brace, tie, stake, and guy trees for support.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and related tools safely.
• Inspect trees for disease or pest problems.
• Educate the public on work being performed.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company dress code.
