Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or training/experience providing the required knowledge, abilities and skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required; CDL is required or must be obtained within 90 days of appointment.
• Successful completion of City of Lincoln’s First-Class Arborist Examination within 6 months of appointment.
• Nebraska Certified Pesticide Applicator License within 6 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Prune, repair, and remove City trees; perform tree maintenance and arboricultural tasks.
• Operate and maintain arboricultural tools and equipment (chainsaws, pruners, bucket trucks, chippers, stump grinders, loaders).
• Provide courteous, professional customer service and work with the public.
