Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader in Wilmington, DE. Lead a tree care crew to perform pruning, removals, cabling, and rigging safely and efficiently, while mentoring team members and upholding industry standards.

You will supervise crews, train workers for each assignment, and maintain equipment. A passion for nature and outdoor work, plus strong client communication, are essential. This is a Regular Full-Time on-site role at our Delaware office.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of tree climbing experience (DdRT or SRT).
• Valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks (pruning, cabling and bracing, rigging, removals).
• Operate and maintain equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Supervise and manage crews; ensure training for designated jobs.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships on site.
• Ensure work meets industry and company standards.

As an Arborist Crew Leader, you will play an important role in

• Safely performing and supervising all aspects of arboriculture, including

• Supervising and managing crews while performing tree care services, as directed by the Arborist Representative and Local Manager
• Ensuring that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
• Ensuring that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards
• Communicating, answering questions, and building relationships with clients
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least three (3) years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
