Job summary

Asplundh Careers in Minnesota is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with comprehensive benefits and hourly pay. You will operate various tools, load and unload materials, and ensure safety while working in diverse weather and terrain. Prior tree-trimming or climbing experience is beneficial, but entry-level candidates are considered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into wood chipper.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
