Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Maple Lake, MN seeks a Trimmer/Climber to trim, tops, and reshape trees to remove low-hanging, dead, and excess branches, providing clearance for utility powerlines. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with hourly pay of $25.01.

You will operate all required tools, load trucks, assist training of new hires, and uphold safety protocols while working outdoors in varying conditions. A driver’s license is required; union membership may be expected.

Qualifications

• Must have good hand-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders and uneven surfaces.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.
• Entry-level position, no experience required (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into wood chipper.
• Maintains safety and order in work areas.
• Repairs minor damage to surroundings and property.
• Assists training of new employees.
