Job summary

BrightView in Fresno, CA is seeking a Climber II to perform intermediate tree care, pruning, rigging, and removals. You will assess sites, safely access canopies, and operate chippers, blowers, and chainsaws in a team environment.

The role requires reading instructions, applying safety protocols, and maintaining PPE standards. Certification in EHAP, First-Aid and CPR is encouraged and may be pursued on the job.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in intermediate tree care and pruning.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Willing to obtain EHAP, First-Aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate tree care operations including pruning and limb removal up to 100 feet.
• Access trees safely according to company protocols and move through canopies.
• Operate powered equipment such as chippers, trucks and blowers.
• Perform ground and canopy chainsaw techniques.
• Use hand tools and rigging to remove branches and trees safely.
• Maintain a safe work zone and follow PPE requirements.
