Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is hiring an Arborist Climber to join our outdoor tree care crew in Olympia, WA. The role centers on tree climbing, assisting Arborist Crew Leaders, and performing diverse tree and shrub care tasks on residential and commercial properties.

You will work in a safety-first culture with opportunities for advancement, company-provided PPE and equipment, and access to professional development resources from Bartlett Research Laboratories in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry.
• Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations, and proper tool maintenance
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to safety rules and company safety policies
• Demonstrating a passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in
