Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking an Arborist Climber to join our outdoor-focused team in Seattle, WA. The role centers on tree climbing and supporting Arborist Crew Leaders with residential and commercial tree and shrub care, following safety protocols and company policies.

You will perform tree climbing, ground duties, and aerial lift work, while learning to identify trees, assess risk, prune, remove, cabling, and root work. A valid license and a passion for outdoor work are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in tree care.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations.
• Properly maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Learn and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
• Demonstrate a passion for nature, environment, and outdoor work.
