Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Baltimore, MD is looking for an Arborist Climber to join our tree care crew. The role centers on climbing and supporting Arborist Crew Leaders in delivering residential and commercial tree and shrub care services.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of climbing and aerial lift experience, holds a valid driver\'s license (Class B CDL preferred), and is capable of working outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

• At least one year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver\'s license (Class B CDL preferred).
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Safety-conscious with adherence to company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of assignments as directed by Arborist Crew Leader.
• Safely carry out all arboriculture tasks: tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, root collar excavations.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts) and uphold safety rules.

As an Arborist Climber, you will play an important role in

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including
• Tree identification
• Tree risk assessments
• Pruning
• Removals
• Cabling and bracing
• Root collar excavations
• Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)
• Learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and company safety policies
• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
• At least one (1) year of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation experience in the tree care industry
• Valid driver\'s license (Class B CDL preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
