Job summary

Oakridge Landscape, Inc. is seeking an Arbor Sales Development professional to join our Arbor team outdoors and drive growth with tree care services.

You will develop sales strategies, generate leads, present proposals, and secure contracts with new clients, while collaborating with arborists and operations to ensure service delivery. The role requires at least 4 years of field-based sales experience, knowledge of arboriculture, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of sales experience, preferably in field-based roles.
• Arboriculture industry experience is highly preferred.
• ISA Arborist Certification or Arborist License is a plus and may be required to stay in the role if not certified.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts and drive repeat business.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve/exceed goals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and outreach.
• Conduct on-site consultations to assess tree and shrub care needs.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals to secure contracts.
• Identify new sales opportunities and pursue leads within the territory.
• Present tailored solutions including tree care, plant health, and consulting services.
• Collaborate with operations/arborist teams to ensure service delivery.
• Attend industry events and promote services.
• Maintain CRM data and provide regular sales reports.
