Job summary

Lawn Management Company (LMC) in Houston, TX is seeking an ArborField Manger to supervise foremen and crews, coordinate scheduling, and report field operations to branch management. The role includes a base pay with benefits, annual incentive, and a company vehicle.

Typical hours are 6am-3pm, Monday-Friday with alternating Saturdays, supporting a long-term career path. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will ensure field operations meet timelines, inventory is controlled, and safety programs

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience managing teams, preferably in landscaping or related industry.
• Excellent communication in Spanish and English.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug screening.
• Strong leadership and ability to direct/instruct others.
• Comfortable using computers/technology.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Arbor Foremen and crews: scheduling, directing work, interviewing, training, performance management.
• Ensures work meets standards via site visits and inspections.
• Collaborates with Branch Manager on scheduling, production, safety, asset management, fleet, purchasing, and estimating new business.
• Opens/closes branch location.
• Manages inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Executes and tracks safety programs and weekly safety meetings.
• Tracks time, materials, customer issues, work orders, payroll; analyzes reports and adjusts as needed.

Job description

Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for an ArborField Manger to serve as a liaison between our tree care field crew and operations management. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position will supervise foreman and their crews, ensure work is scheduled to meet timelines, and communicate field operations up to Branch management staff. This is a Full-time position, with typical hours being 6am to 3pm, Monday-Friday with alternating work on Saturdays. In addition to receiving a base pay and being benefit eligible, this role qualifies for annual incentive pay as well as a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Arbor Foremen and their crews to include scheduling, directing work, interviewing, training, performance management, etc.
• Ensures work is completed to company standards by conducting site visits and inspections
• Works closely with the Branch Manager on various tasks such as scheduling, production, safety, capital assets, fleet management, purchasing needs and estimating new business
• Opens/closes branch location
• Controls and manages inventory of supplies and equipment
• Responsible for executing and tracking safety programs and weekly safety team meetings
• Uses a variety of systems to track time, material, customer issues, work orders, payroll, etc
• Reviews monthly reports to monitor team’s efficiency, actual vs. projected, and makes adjustments to work as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience managing teams, preferably in landscaping or related industry
• Excellent communication skills with ability to speak Spanish and English
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Strong leadership skills with ability to direct and instruct others
