Job summary

Cognizant in New York is seeking a Data Collection Team Lead for the AR/VR group to steer data collection programs and translate feedback into design guidance. You will manage end-to-end data gathering, quality reviews, and stakeholder reporting.

The role emphasizes cross-geography collaboration, team leadership, and process improvement, with responsibilities including training new hires and serving as the main project contact.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in big data collection management (preferred).
• Strong experience in Excel (in a manual environment).
• Good knowledge of handling various mobile devices (phones, tablets, laptops).
• Experience working with ticket management platforms (raise, review, approve, follow up, close, report).
• Experience collaborating with teams across geographies and functions.
• Experience managing teams, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination: planning and requirements gathering for new projects or device iterations.
• Scheduling coordination: coordinating refresher training and headcount planning.
• Metrics and trend reporting: prepare reports for reviews and meetings.
• Engineer coordination: communicate protocol updates and manage feedback loop.
• Create project infrastructure and processes.
• Conduct project risk assessment and mitigation.
• Lead project meetings and demos.
• Train new hires.
