Job summary

DataForce by TransPerfect is hiring a Moderator for on-site sessions in Los Angeles, working with participants to perform tasks using AR/VR devices. You will moderate sessions, troubleshoot data collection tech, and report progress to the production team. Maintain data quality and professionalism at all times.

The role includes guiding sessions, coordinating with the Project Manager, and ensuring safety and accuracy of collected data. Some lifting is required and travel to locations may occur.

Qualifications

• Experience in moderation, facilitation or proctoring roles preferred.
• Possess technical knowledge with iOS and troubleshooting hardware issues; able to use command-line tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain data collection equipment, offload data, and lead high-quality data generation.
• Understand project documentation to assist participants.
• Interact with participants and guide them through data collection tasks.
• Capture data and aim to reach the daily target.
• Label/tag data using client tools.
• Provide session updates to Project Manager and Production team.
• Coordinate with project team and other stakeholders.
• Interact with AR/VR devices and related hardware/software.
• Assist in preparing session materials and setting up the facility.
• Monitor participant flow and address questions professionally.
• Provide feedback on session dynamics and engagement.
• Ability to lift 45-50lbs when needed.
