Job description

Lead client outcomes, develop talent, and drive revenue cycle excellence. As a Team Lead, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), you'll play a critical role in improving financial outcomes for healthcare providers while leading a high-performing team. This is more than an operational leadership role. You'll own the performance of an assigned portfolio of client accounts, using data and operational insight to identify reimbursement trends, reduce denials, improve revenue cycle performance, and create measurable client impact. You'll partner closely with leaders across Revenue Cycle Management while coaching and developing team members to strengthen team capability and deliver outstanding results. If you enjoy combining people leadership, operational problem-solving, and data-driven decision making, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of revenue cycle professionals, building capability, accountability, and strong operational performance.
  • Own outcomes for an assigned portfolio of client accounts, identifying opportunities to improve reimbursement results, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze performance metrics, denial trends, payer behaviors, and operational data to uncover root causes and implement corrective actions that improve client outcomes.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, inventory, service levels, and account health metrics to ensure team and client objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams across Revenue Cycle Management to eliminate process gaps, improve workflow alignment, and strengthen revenue cycle performance.
  • Guide team members in developing analytical skills and operational expertise so they can proactively identify issues and drive improved client results.
  • Lead operational improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, improve quality, reduce reimbursement barriers, and support organizational goals.
  • Support account transitions, onboarding activities, workload balancing, and ongoing account management to ensure service continuity and success.
  • Communicate operational performance, risks, trends, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with payer requirements, company policies, regulatory guidelines, and established operational controls.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experience within the HME/DME industry with strong Revenue Cycle Management knowledge.
  • Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement processes.
  • Strong understanding of claims lifecycle management, accounts receivable, denials, appeals, and reimbursement workflows.
  • Previous people leadership, supervisory, lead, or team coaching experience with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate employees.
  • Proven ability to leverage operational data, analytics, and reporting to identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and improve business outcomes.
  • Experience managing operational performance through productivity, quality, service-level, and financial metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence outcomes across teams and leadership levels.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives and driving operational change.
  • Proficiency with revenue cycle management systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed teams, including domestic and global operational resources.
Nice to Have
  • Experience across multiple DME product categories.
  • Brightree experience.
  • Experience presenting operational results, trends, and recommendations to clients or senior leaders.
What Sets You Apart
  • Outcome Ownership - You take accountability for results and proactively address challenges before they become larger issues.
  • Data-Driven Curiosity - You naturally look beyond the surface, using data to uncover trends, identify root causes, and drive meaningful improvement.
  • People Developer - You invest in helping others grow and measure success through the success of your team.
  • Collaborative Problem Solver - You bring people together across functions to remove barriers and create better outcomes.
