Job summary

Midwest Vision Partners seeks a Manager of Accounts Receivable to oversee AR across MVP, including insurance and self-pay balances, with a focus on reducing DSO and improving collections.

The role leads a team, analyzes payer trends, and collaborates with RCM leaders to remove barriers and enhance patient experience. Preferred candidates have 5+ years in denial management and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in supervision or management related to denials management.
• Excellent knowledge of governmental and third-party reimbursement structures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with payer policies and local/state coverage changes.

Responsibilities

• Set, formalize, and execute strategy to achieve KPIs with the RCM leadership team.
• Optimize collection strategy through AR behavior analysis and best practices.
• Monitor credit balances; identify root causes and ensure timely processing per payer rules.
• Establish objectives and targets for key performance indicators.
• Lead efforts to analyze and resolve denials with insurance carriers.
• Escalate issues to the VP of RCM as needed.
• Lead integration and unification of revenue cycle functions.
• Establish workflows to achieve KPIs and supervise staff performance.
