Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary role in Carlsbad, CA. The position runs 8 am–4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $28–$30 per hour.

You will ensure accurate posting of payments and reconcile deposits as part of a collaborative finance team. Responsibilities include resolving customer payment discrepancies, posting to the general ledger, and coordinating with Financial Services to ensure timely processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in accounts receivable or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and reconciling deposits.
• Ability to research discrepancies and adjust ledgers.
• Excellent organization and collaboration with retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with retail locations to ensure accuracy of all payments received and that they are recorded properly.
• Review office deposit reports and reconcile monthly totals.
• Research customer account discrepancies and record corrections to the application and to the general ledger.
• Coordinate with Financial Services to ensure payments are posted timely.
• Monitor NSFs and chargebacks.
• Open mail and distribute.
• Download online deposit reports and activity.
