Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care in Cabot, AR is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. The role includes operating radiology equipment, developing films, and performing Medical Assistant duties as needed.

The position requires an AR state X-ray license, BLS, and preferred ARRT certification, with a full-time schedule on a rotating 12-hour shift including weekends. Salary and benefits accompany this role in a busy urgent-care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• AR State X-Ray License
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patients promptly in waiting or exam areas
• Communicates wait times and directs patients to next steps in treatment
• Assists with patient transfers and procedures under supervision
• Performs and documents vital signs, history, and pertinent information
• Maintains radiology equipment readiness and reports malfunctions
• Performs radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the provider
• Executes quality control to ensure exam quality and safety
• Maintains licensure and certification for radiology equipment and facility staff

Education

AR State X-Ray License

ARRT Certification

High school diploma or equivalent

BLS Certification

Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
