Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent AR/Payroll Clerk to join our Accounting and Finance team in a fast-paced environment. The role covers full payroll processing and accounts receivable, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include payroll cycles, AR postings, ledger entries, and month-end support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with focus on payroll processing and accounts receivable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software and databases.
• Excellent mathematical and computational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and create and review reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Prepare and record all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Generate age analysis review AR aging to ensure compliance, follow up on delinquent accounts, and ensure timely collections.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries.
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and financial audits related to AR and payroll.
• Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
