Responsibilities

• Manage full payroll cycle, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll records per statutory requirements.
• Process AR transactions accurately and on time.
• Monitor aging and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Investigate and resolve customer queries.
• Prepare bank deposits and GL postings.
• Support month-end close and audits related to AR and payroll.
• Generate ad hoc financial and operational reports.
• Ensure data accuracy and assist with reporting requests.

Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Permanent AR/Payroll Clerk to join our vibrant Accounting and Finance team. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and progressive environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of accounts receivable and payroll functions. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our financial department and requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for numbers.

Responsibilities

• 1. Manage the full cycle of payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• 2. Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements.
• 3. Prepare and record all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• 4. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• 5. Generate age analysis review AR aging to ensure compliance, follow up on delinquent accounts, and ensure timely collections.
• 6. Investigate and resolve customer queries.
• 7. Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
• 8. Assist with month-end closing processes and financial audits related to AR and payroll.
• 9. Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on payroll processing and accounts receivable.
• 3. Demonstrated knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations, and procedures.
• 4. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software and databases.
• 5. Excellent mathematical and computational skills.
• 6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• 7. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and create and review reports.
• 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 10. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
