Job summary

Bowery Valuation is seeking an AR Lead to clean up accounts receivable, improve DSO, and optimize collections workflows. This remote, US-based contractor role offers 10–20 hours weekly with flexible hours and compensation of 30–50 USD per hour.

You will work with accounting, BD, and appraisal teams to ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time. Ideal candidates have proven AR ownership in a B2B environment, a diligent, process-driven approach, and a background in accounting or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Own the end-to-end AR cycle for a multi-client B2B environment.
• Demonstrate diligence in a complex collections process with ownership mindset.
• Accounting background or degree is a strong plus.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software; NetSuite is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end AR cycle for assigned clients, focusing on outreach and collections.
• Identify the correct contact within client organizations for each invoice.
• Communicate with clients via email to resolve outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with Accounting Manager, business development, and appraisers to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor AR balance and drive down through consistent follow-up.
• Support payment application and reconciliation as needed.
• Assist with automation tools for client reach-outs and AR workflows.
